The Great Wall

The Great Wall, located in northern China, is 6,700 kilometers long and thus known as the “10,000-li Great Wall”. Construction of the wall went on for more than 2,000 years, from 7th century to 14th century AD. The wall has become a symbol of both China’s proud history and its present strength. It is one of the wonders of the world and a must-see for visitors to China.

The Forbidden City

The Forbidden City, also called the Palace Museum, is located in the center of Beijing. The imperial palace used by emperors of the Ming and Qing Dynasties is the largest and most complete ancient wooden-structure building complex in the world. Construction of the Forbidden City started in 1406 and lasted for 14 years. It offers a glimpse into China's imperial past and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Three Gorges of the Yangtze River

The Three Gorges are situated in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and are famous throughout the world. They are: the Xiling Gorge, the Wuxia Gorge, and the Qutang Gorge. The Three Gorges Dam, built as part of the Three Gorges Project, is one of the largest hydroelectric power stations in the world.

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, located in Zhangjiajie City, is famous for its stunning natural scenery, including the world-renowned Tianzi Mountains. The park is known for its unique quartz sandstone pillars, which create a breathtaking landscape. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a major tourist attraction in China.

The Summer Palace

The Summer Palace, also known as the Yiheyuan, is a grand royal garden located in Beijing. It was the principal imperial garden of Chinese emperors during the Qing Dynasty. The palace complex features a variety of pavilions, halls, and gardens, and is a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design.
