In the past hundred years, there have been frequent natural disasters, such as floods, droughts, mud-rock flows, seismic sea waves, and earthquakes. These disasters have destroyed countless homes and caused great damage to our living environment.

Floods, for instance, often result from heavy rainfall or melting snow, causing rivers to overflow and flood vast areas of land. This not only affects people's homes and crops but also leads to water shortages and other problems.

Droughts, on the other hand, occur when there is not enough rainfall for an extended period, leading to a shortage of water for people and crops. This can cause serious economic losses and even lead to food shortages in some areas.

Mud-rock flows are a type of landslide caused by heavy rainfall or rapid snowmelt, which can carry large amounts of mud and rocks down mountainsides with great force. These flows can destroy entire villages and cause widespread damage to infrastructure.

Seismic sea waves, also known as tsunami, are caused by underwater earthquakes or volcanic eruptions. They can grow to enormous heights and cause devastating damage to coastal cities and towns, often resulting in large-scale evacuations and loss of life.

Earthquakes are another major natural disaster that can cause widespread damage. They can occur suddenly without warning, shaking the ground and causing buildings to collapse. Earthquakes can also trigger other disasters, such as landslides and mud-rock flows, making the situation even more dangerous.

We have seriously polluted the environment, which has increased the frequency and severity of natural disasters. Deforestation, for example, has led to soil erosion and reduced the ability of the earth to absorb rainfall, increasing the risk of flooding and drought.

As a result of these factors, the climate has become abnormal, with more extreme weather events occurring. Rainwater rushes down hillsides angrily, and underground energy rises in revenge upon us. It is crucial that we take action to reduce our impact on the environment and mitigate the effects of natural disasters. By doing so, we can help protect our homes and communities from these destructive forces.
