Trip to Shanghai During Holidays

During the holidays, I had the opportunity to travel to Shanghai and explore its vibrant city. It was a seven-day trip with my family, and it took us more than two hours to drive there from our home in Haimen. We stayed in a large hotel on the eighth floor.

On the first day, I just stayed in the hotel and rested. On the second day, my brother and I went to Nanjing Road. It's the busiest street in Shanghai, and when we got there, there were lots of people. We walked from one shop to another, and I bought two T-shirts and two pairs of trousers for the coming summer. The T-shirts and trousers I bought are all white because white is my favorite color. My brother also bought some clothes.

On the third day, my mother took me to the Jinjiang Entertainment Centre. It was full of people, and I played many kinds of games there. I had a good time. The following days were filled with visits to The Bund, the Science Museum, and even The Docks. Shanghai is a beautiful city with stylish lights and skyscrapers around the city. Everything looked extremely stylish and full of energy.

One of the highlights of our trip was visiting the China Pavilion. It's an important building that's magnificent and unique. We also came to the top of the Oriental Pearl, which is the landmark of Shanghai. Looking down from the top of the 258-meter tower, cars were like beetles, and roads were like ribbons.

There were also many delicious snacks in Shanghai, such as small steamed buns and scallion noodles. Their delicacy left me a strong aftertaste. The people in Shanghai are always friendly and warm-hearted.

Overall, it was an amazing trip to Shanghai, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.
